Patricia West
Vice President of Financial Services
As vice president of Financial Services for The Permanente Medical Group, Inc., and Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, Patricia West is responsible for managing TPMG’s and MAPMG’s financial affairs including accounting, finance and treasury functions.
Her financial services operations oversight includes medical center and regional financial reporting and analysis, along with health plan contracting, outside medical contracting, optical services and business ventures.
In addition, she serves on several committees for the TPMG and MAPMG Boards of Directors, including Finance, Retirement and Physician Compensation. She is also a board member for HEARx West.
West joined TPMG in 1995 as a resource allocation team consultant in Operational Support Services, and in 2001 she became the managing director of TPMG Financial Operational Services. Over time, she took on additional responsibilities to include corporate planning, medical center budgeting, financial forecasting and analysis, cost accounting, and TPMG financial technical support.
West earned a bachelor’s degree in medical technology from the University of Northern Colorado and completed both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley.
